The Bochumer Icon, Herbert Grönemeyer knew it already in his song ” Kinder an die Macht”, that children should have the command. Today on World Children’s Day we want to give the youngest in our society the attention.

Since 1994 Care & Fair – Teppichhandel gegen Kinderarbeit e.V. has been committed to the children of rug weavers in Nepal, Pakistan and India, together with their families.

At home in Hamburg, engaged in the world. This includes school education,
health care and adult education for families from the rug industry.

Meanwhile Care & Fair works with exporting and importing members from more than 24 countries, who finance the projects with their taxes and donations.

We as miinu permanently finance and support about 10 teachers, 25 women (Women Empowerment Program) and 315 students of the Semuhi School in Jaunpur, India in the immediate vicinity of one of our production sites. We do this out of full conviction and great passion.

Thus, every rug sold is also a common good act and the more we sell together, the more we can change together, because education is the path to freedom.
